Montirone is an aluminum alloy foundry that has been manufacturing molds and molding using die-casting technology since 1981.
Montirone is a joint venture that Marzocchi Pompe developed to gain direct access to the supply of quality die-cast components. The company owns presses with varying tonnages, from 250 to 500 tons, and sells its products primarily in the automotive and fluid power sectors.
Marzocchi Pompe also works closely with Montirone to develop the design of complex die-casting molds, which are then produced by specialized mold makers.
Montirone is located in San Giovanni in Persiceto, approximately 20 km from Marzocchi Pompe’s headquarters.
The company, active since 1981, offers its services as a partner responsible for producing castings according to customer specifications, using various types of aluminum alloys, including special alloys such as L91 and Pyral.
Specializing in medium-small sized castings with high technological content, Montirone collaborates with the customer to define and build the molds based on the component to be produced (co-design logic), performs the casting up to the pre-processing phase and is available to carry out post-processing up to the supply of the finished product thanks to collaboration with qualified external suppliers.
In 1999, Marzocchi Pompe formed a joint venture with Montirone to use die-cast aluminum components with special characteristics in its products.
